Ren Valerio

I am a lead designer and multidisciplinary creative based in Calgary, Alberta. With over 10 years of experience, leading and supporting over 100+ projects, with a focus on creative direction, brand identity, and UI/UX design. My background spans major industries, driving brands and campaigns from concept to fully realized products in print and digital.

My path as a designer started in 2005 with a CD-rom copy of Photoshop 6 given by my dad, and I never looked back. From my childhood bedroom creating fan art and anything that piques my interest, to a decade-long career as a professional designer, needless to say, I love what I do. 

In every project I work on, one core remains true: a deep reverence for good design and a clear through line that it truly changes the world. My perspective and my experiences over the years help shape my work. Whether it’s through my efficiency, how I work and elevate my team, my understanding that everything is better when we’re able to collaborate, and my humility that I continue to grow as both a designer and a human.
